Going Outside

This was probably my favorite photo shoot forLittle Rock Family Magazine so far. For this month's cover feature, we headed to Petit Jean State Park to photograph the incredible Buckley family. Stephanie (mom) is a fabulous, stay-at-home mother (THE toughest job on earth) uber blogger, AND home-school teacher to her two sons, Hays and Finn. Joe (dad) is park superintendent at Petit Jean State Park.

With Petit Jean State Park as your classroom, these kids are incredibly lucky.

Any opportunity for me to get outside, hit the road and travel to one of Arkansas' prettiest state parks for photos is well worth it. The day could not have been any better. Warm, but not hot, little humidity and a great breeze.

After the photo shoot, I had Dean take a photo of myself. It was really hard to get that vulture to circle nearby.
